Rio, February 26, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Furnas company's Communications Office informed that, as soon as they learned about the fire this morning at Electrobrás headquarters, Furnas's directors placed its installations in the Botafogo district at the disposal of the public enterprise.

Furnas is controlled by Eletrobrás, and, according to the Communications Office, Eletrobras's directors accepted the offer and can resume activities immediately at Furnas headquarters. (DAS)
