Brasília, 2/13/2003 (Agência Brasil) - Yesterday minister of Labor, Ricardo Berzoíni, got a cream pie in the face during a ceremony in Fortaleza for the launch of a First Job project. "A pie in the face" has become an occupational hazard for politicians all over the world. However, in an unusual twist, the Berzoini pie-thrower managed to escape in the confusion following the pie throwing. Berzoini is adamant in calling for the capture and punishment of the pie-thrower - a woman who was filmed.

"This was an unacceptable act, completely senseless in a political sense, where a representative of the government was attacked without justification," declared the minister. "It is something people should not do in a democracy." Berzoini pointed out that he was in Fortaleza to inaugurate a popular program that will assist people who need help.
