Curitiba, February 6, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - By yesterday (5) evening, twelve of the 17 toll plazas that raised tolls in Paraná had been invaded by members of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST). The last of the twelve that were taken over was in the São José dos Pinhais region, on the BR-277, which belongs to the Ecovia. This time the landless workers didn't destroy gates or surveillance equipment. (DAS)
