Brasília, January 2, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) opened inscriptions for the Cultural Development Program. The goal is to support small projects that promote cultural initiatives in Latin American and Caribbean countries. The IDB will provide up to US$ 10 thousand.
The program has three objectives: to support artistic education and advancement of youth in Latin America and the Caribbean; to stimulate the activities of development centers that disseminate institutional experiences for local or regional application; and to disseminate works and preserve artistic expressions through small-scale projects that, over the long-run, benefit broad sectors of the local community.
