Brasília, 1/29/2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The head of the Federal Police, Paulo Lacerda, says that everything is being done to solve the case of the murdered labor inspectors and their driver which took place near Unai, Minas Gerais, around 170 kilometers from Brasilia.

Three labor inspectors who were investigating slave-type labor, and their driver, were shot after their vehicle was stopped on a highway yesterday morning.

"This is a very serious crime. We will act decisively because this involves government officials killed in the line of duty," said Lacerda. (AB)
