False Central Bank internet messages become a case for Federal Police

Brasília, - The Central Bank has asked the Federal Police to begin tracking internet messages that are being sent as if they were from the Central Bank.

The false messages are being sent to exporters and importers requesting confidential information from them in the name of the Central Bank. "They are false messages and should not be answered," reports the bank, adding that such information should only be transmitted through secure means for data transmission.
