Mumbai, Índia - It was to the sound of a Gilberto Gil hit, "Filhos de Gandhi" (Children of Gandhi), performed by the composer himself, that the 4th World Social Forum came to an end yesterday. Although he was not in Mumbai as an official representative of the Brazilian government, Gil went to the stage with his guitar after the official speeches and sang songs in four languages to celebrate the cultural diversity that has characterized World Social Forums.
