Porto Alegre, January 20, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Minister of Agrarian Development, Miguel Rossetto, and Governor Germano Rigotto signed agreements worth R$ 2 million to provide technical assistance and rural extension to family farms, as well as to consolidate land reform settlements in Rio Grande do Sul

Rossetto also announced that he intends to make the laws more flexible, to give muncipal agro-industries access to state, federal, and export markets. (DAS)
