Americans want to expand scientific cooperation with Brazil

Brasília, January 14, 2004 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The United States wants to expand cooperation with Brazil in the area of scientific research, and the government is interested in establishing other partnerships in this area with the Americans. This was one of the themes of the conversation between the Minister of Environment, Marina Silva, and Republican Senators Susan Collins, of Maine, and Lindsay Graham, of South Carolina, who presented her today with a report on the trip they made to the Amazon region.
