Brasília, 12/17/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Agriculture Confederation (CNA) has released a balance sheet on 2003 in which it reports that it was a good year for most of the sector. The highlight being a record grain harvest of 120 million tons.

However, while powerful sectors such as sugarcane and soybeans had a spectacular year, things were not so bright for farmers who work with dairy products, poultry, pork or coffee. They complain they lost income. (AB)
