São Paulo, 12/2/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Luiz Fernando Furlan, says that Brazil should close out the year with exports of US$72 billion. Furlan pointed out that at the end of November, with total exports at US$66.336 billion, the target of increasing exports by 10% had been reached. The minister also revealed that this November's exports were 16.6% above exports in November 2002. (AB)
