São Paulo, 11/24/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The labor union, CUT (Central Única dos Trabalhadores), and one hundred other social movement groups that are part of the National Social Movement Organization (Coordenação Nacional dos Movimentos Sociais) (CMS), held a demonstration in front of the São Paulo Modern Art Museum (Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo) (Masp), on the Avenida Paulista on Friday to protest the formation of the Free Trade Area of the Americas and the International Monetary Fund. The estimated 3,000 demonstators demanded more jobs and marched to the American consulate. (AB)
