Brasília - President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and the Ministry of Foreign Relations have sent a message to the governments of Turkey and England lamenting the terrorist attacks last week that killed and injured citizens of the two countries.

In the note, the Brazilian government vehemently condemned such violence and "calls on the international community to make an effort to find solutions that permanently eradicate the reasons that cause people to commit acts of terror." (AB)
