Brasília, 11/18/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazilian exports in the second week of November were up 20.5%, compared to November 2002. The November trade surplus is running at US$553 million. For the year, the cumulative surplus is now at US$21.3 billion.
Imports were also up in November by 9.4%, compared to the same period last year. Imports of fertilizers were up 24.6%, mechanical equipment up 17.6%. (AB)
