Foreign investment in the Bovespa has been positive early in November

Brasília, November 14, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The balance of foreign investments in the São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) was positive in the first ten days of November. The net inflow of funds came to R$ 76,928,850, as the result of R$ 1,391,416,381 in share purchases and R$ 1,314,487,531 in sales. Through November 10's trading session this year's cumulative balance has been positive: R$ 5,593,270,446.

At 11:14 A.M., yesterday (13), the Ibovespa (Bovespa Index) hit 19,113 points, its highest level since its creation in 1968. A minute later, at 11:15 A.M., the index hit its high for the day, 19,115 points. The highest previous level within a trading session was 19,046 points, on March 27, 2000. (DAS)
