Rio, October 17, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Cost, the tax question, logistics, and bureaucracy were singled out by the president of the Brazilian Foreign Trade Association, Benedito Fonseca Moreira, as the chief obstacles faced by Brazilian export entrepreneurs.
According to Moreira, Brazilian exports could currently be close to 100 billion dollars, or even surpass this figure, but they will only reach 70 billion dollars this year.
Moreira spoke right before he participated in the seminar "Rio: Corridor of Integration," sponsored by the Firjan (Rio de Janeiro Federation of Industries) and the BNDES (National Economic and Social Development Bank). (DAS)
