Brasília, October 16, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazil is willing to help Bolivia overcome the serious political crisis besetting the country. Prior to embarking, yesterday (15), on an official visit to Argentina, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva guaranteed that Brazil will do "everything considered useful" to help the Bolivians find a peaceful and legal solution to overcome the crisis as quickly as possible.

The Presidential spokesman, André Singer, said that the President believes that the changes that are necessary in South America should come about through dialogue and democratic institutions. (DAS)
