Brasília, 10/13/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - With the objective of getting environmental policy on track in order to ensure the full exercise of citizenship, "making it possible for people to live where they can be certain of healthy surroundings," minister of Cities, Olivio Dutra, inaugurated a work group on Thursday.

For the next 90 days the interministerial group will draw up a National Environmental policy plan and its financing. Work has been underway since May integrating various projects in the area in order to bring all of them in line with the government's Multi-Year Plan (PPA). (AB)
