Brasília, 9/30/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazil's trade surplus in the fourth week of September was US$493 million, with exports of US$1.476 billion, and imports of US$983 million. The cumulative surplus for the year is now at US$16.549 billion.

As of now, the Central Bank forecast is for the country to close out the year with a trade surplus of US$20.5 billion. (AB)
