Brasília, September 25, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The National Monetary Council (CMN) decided to reduce the Long Term Interest Rate (TJLP) from 12% to 11% per year. The TJLP is used by the National Economic and Social Development Bank (BNDES) in many of its financial operations. The new TJLP will be in effect from October 1 to December 31. (DAS)
