Trade surplus now more than US$16.5 billion

Brasília, 9/16/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Brazil's foreign trade surplus for the year has now risen to US$16.546 billion (that is the total at the end of second week of September).

During the second week of September, exports totalled US$1.677 billion, and imports US$967 million, for a surplus of US$701 million. (AB)
