Rio, 9/11/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The Tom Jobim International Airport in Rio de Janeiro has beefed up its security for the anniversary of the September 11 terrorists attacks.

According to Federal Police spokesmen, besides normal security measures there will be more police agents on duty and baggage inspection will be stepped up, especially for flights to the United States. (AB)
