São Paulo exceeds polio vaccination target

São Paulo, 9/3/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - This weekend the state of São Paulo exceeded the second phase polio vaccination campaign target of 95% of all children up to five years of age. A report on the campaign shows that 96.8%, some 3.5 million children, were vaccinated.

Last June, 96% of all children up to the age of five, were vaccinated in São Paulo, during the first phase of the vaccination campaign. (AB)
