Rio, 8/21/2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Petrobras, Brazil's state-controlled oil company, took 85 exploration and production blocks by itself, and another three with partners, in a National Petroleum Agency auction which is now in its second day.

The most disputed blocks were in the Potiguar Land Basin. (AB)
