Wagner schedules launching of First Employment program for June 30

Brasília, June 16, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The federal government will launch the First Job for Youth program, intended for young people between 16 and 24 years of age, on June 30. This announcement was made today by the Minister of Labor and Employment, Jaques Wagner, during a national seminar on the 2004/2007 Pluriannual Plan (PPA). Wagner also informed that discussions about the PPA within the sphere of his Ministry are focussed on social inclusion through the generation of work, employment, and income, which is consistent with the goals of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
