Brasília, January 13, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Finance, Antônio Palocci, informed today that there is still no definition for the primary surplus target that the administration will aim for this year. He said that whatever this index may be, the administration will strive to attain it, since it is committed to paying its debts. According to Palocci, the tendency is for an increase in the target of 3.75% projected for this year. (DAS)
