Brasília, January 13, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Senator Carlos Wilson (PTB-Pernambuco) declared today, in his inaugural address as president of Infraero, that the company will collaborate with the Zero Hunger program. "We shall share the responsibilities of being in the government, thinking of the country, the nation, social development, employment, multiplying opportunities, and eliminating hunger," the new president guaranteed.
Wilson said that Infraero will act in poor areas near the airports, to reduce "social differences." According to him, this is the "Solidary Airport" project. "We shall search for other solutions that imply improvement in the quality of life of people who live in areas near the airports," he pointed out. (DAS)
