Carlos Wilson assumes post of President of Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company

Brasília, January 13, 2003 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Senator Carlos Wilson (PTB-Pernambuco) took office today as president of the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero). In his inauguration address, Wilson promised to give continuity to the company's achievements.

"We can and should bring in foreign exchange, marketing abroad the result of our victorious accomplishments in the administration of 65 airports and 82 air traffic control groups," he said, calling attention to the São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos, with a daily circulation of 100 thousand passengers.

In 2002 Infraero earned R$ 1.7 billion. (DAS)
