Brasília, December 5, 2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - President-elect Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva meets today with the national president of the PSB, Miguel Arraes (PE), at the Torto Farm. According to Lula's press secretary, Ricardo Kotscho, one of the topics of the meeting will be the formation of the new administration's cabinet.

Kotscho said it is possible that the president-elect will announce all the ministerial appointments prior to his trip to the United States next Monday (9) to meet, the following day, with president George W. Bush, at the White House. Lula is having lunch at the Torto Farm, his provisional residence in Brasília, with the national president of the PT, deputy José Dirceu (SP), PT senator-elect from São Paulo, Aloizio Mercadante, and the general coordinator of the government transition team, Antônio Palocci.
