Brasília, 12/6/2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - A survey by the National Industrial Confederation reports that the rise in industrial activity which began at the middle of the year continues.

With seasonal adjustments, October real sales were up 3.03%, and hours worked rose 1.16%, compared to September.

And in October, the Brazilian industrial sector reached its highest level of installed capacity use - 82.6% - in the 11 years the CNI has measured it. (AB)
