Brasília, December 4, 2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - At the signing of an agreement today, in this capital, to renew the contractual partnership between Brasil Telecom and Solidary Literacy, the president of the Council of the Solidary Community Program, Ruth Cardoso, pointed out that support from firms is essential for the continuity of the program, mainly after the governmental change. "Solidary Literacy has the capacity to proceed under a new government. The program will not be hurt by the changes exactly because it is based on partnerships with firms. Therefore, we hope we can make it move forward," Ruth Cardoso affirmed. (DAS)
