Brasília, December 4, 2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - The national president of the PT, José Dirceu, said, upon his arrival at the government transition office today, that there is still time to nominate the president of the Central Bank (BC), who needs to pass Senate review. Dirceu said that the president-elect is holding consultations and that the PT is conversing with its allies in the Chamber and the Senate. "We are going to form the administration from all those who backed our candidacy in the first and second round, and this is being done within the period we have available," said Dirceu. (DAS)
