Government makes expenditures to increase compeititivity of small businesses

Rio, 12/5/2002 (Agência Brasil - ABr) – The Ministry of Science and Technology should direct its spending of sectoral funds to so-called Local Production Arrangements (APLs) where small businesses engaged in the same kind of work are concentrated. The objective is to increase competitivity aimed at the export market, says José Seixas Lourenço, an advisor at the Ministry.
