Brasília, 4 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Companies which work for the Ministry of Agrarian Development or the Land Reform Institute (Incra) will now have to have a workforce that is 30% Black. In the past the quota was 20%.

According to Lenita Norman, at the Ministry, companies will have six months to comply and the Ministry will only contract affirmative action firms. She also announced that by 2003, 30% of the top jobs at the Ministry will have to be occupied by women. (AB)
