Brasília – In its third dollar-selling operation this year, the Brazilian Central Bank once again sold dollars on Tuesday, October 4. This time the amount was $1.649 billion in what are called swap auctions.

Before these most recent swaps (on September 22 and October 3 and 4), the last one by the Brazilian Central Bank was on June 26, 2009.
