Brasília – During the period from July 2010 to June 2011, Brazil’s total exports reached $84.6 billion, an increase of 23.9%, compared to the previous 12-month period between July 2009 and June 201, when exports reached $68.3 billion. At the same time, imports rose 35.7%, going from $11.5 billion to $15.6 billion. As a result, the cumulative trade surplus for the last 12 months is now $68.9 billion.
