G-20 prepares strategy for Doha Round talks

Brasília – The block of twenty developing countries (G-20) has been meeting in Bhurban, Pakistan, at the ministerial level.

According to Celso Amorim, Brazil's Foreign Minister, the G-20 has decided to work on improving its presentation of its proposals and move ahead with technical studies of its positions. The group wants to find concrete solutions for problems in world trade in agricultural goods based on the three pillars of domestic support, subsidies and exportation.
