Brazil and Mexico sign bilateral agreements

Brasília, 2 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - As part of the official visit by Mexican president, Vicente Fox, which begins today, Brazil and Mexico will sign a series of bilateral agreements. Among the agreements is the Brazil-Mexico Complementary Economic Agreement on preferential tariffs for 790 items (151 farms items and 639 manufactured items). The agreement will translate into a substantial rise in bilateral trade, which is now running at about US$2.6 billion annually. (AB)
