Committee to oversee efforts to end slave labor

Brasilia, 12 (Agência Brasil - ABr) - Minister of Justice Aloysio Nunes swears in today the special committee that will oversee the efforts to put an end to slave labor in Brazil. The induction will occur during a meeting of the Rights of the Human Person Defense Council, in Brasilia. At the meeting, the council will also analyze a report on indigenous conflicts involving gold prospectors in the region of Aripuanã, in the state of Mato Grosso, and a report on the criminal proceedings in Loanda, in the state of Paraná, involving members of the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST).
