Brasilia – The Budgetary Guidelines Law (“LDO”), which must be approved before a congressional recess that begins on July 17, is expected to finally get out of committee and go to a floor vote today. A number of controversial issues in the bill resulted in disagreement between the government and opposition and held up a vote on the bill prepared by senator Tião Viana (PT-AC).
